Emotions, Accessibility, and Boredom drive losses... 0-2 yesterday, only up 41% now

ree

For the longest time I have been a Brewers fan - not sure why, they haven't ever really won anything. But, I enjoy that they are a small market team, have had great coaching, do a lot with a little, and have been very consistent over the last decade or so.

Maybe, that is why I like them. But, I do get impatient. So last night, after not having access to my DraftKings,

missing the ATP bet, the shift in the line for MLB, and $OPEN falling back to planet earth, I needed something. I took the Tigers -132, and the Brewers +126. ChatGPT gave me the ok on the Tigers late, but was iffy on the Brewers. I waiting until the top of the 5th to place the wager (that still fit the plan) but in total we lost $6 yesterday. Not a lot of money, but a big hit as a % of the bankroll.

Today, we go again with MLB, from ChatGPT:

For July 23, we locked in the Cincinnati Reds ML at –145 for a disciplined $2.85 stake — perfectly aligned with our bankroll and half‑Kelly sizing at ~2%. Estimated win probability remains ~62% vs implied ~59.2%, giving a modest +2.8% edge. With the bankroll at $139.95 after placing, we continue our disciplined, value‑first approach.

We keep grinding...
